Hellifield Railway Station, North Yorkshire England - 2nd June 2010

Views from the platform of this old style Midland Railways station. Features a number of passing and stopping trains including Northern Trains Class 158 and Class 144, EWS Class 66 working freight trains, including one empty Gypsum containers going Northbound, and a laden cement train also going Northbound. This album also features the approach of steam locomotive 48151 Gauge O Guild working The Fellsman, which was heading Southbound. This stopped at Hellifield to take water, and the album captures this. This album also features footage of the station building and infrastructure including the water tank and pipe for the steam train, and the newly dug-out turning circle.
